Introduction:

S136 stainless steel, the hardness 30-36HRC, has good resistance to corrosion and high throw light and high wear resistance, mold plastic mold used in the repair cost is low and low manufacturing cost.

The mould use aggressive PVC, acetate, injection molding materials or must be in the humid environment pf work and stored; in the injection molding material using wear larger (including thermoset injection molding)or work time requirements of the mold with longer, such as electronic parts, tools, utensils discarded meal type; production of optical products, such as a carmera, sunglasses, chemical equipment and plastic products.

Stainless steel S136 can resist water, water vapor, weak organic aci, diluted nitrate, carbonate etc.. Mold id made, if the operation in a humid environment, or the use of corrosion in the nomal state of plastic material, will not rust or contaminated. Stainless steel S136 in the low temperature tempering and polished to mirror state, in particular can show excellent corrosion resistance.
Quenching and tempering S136 has excellent polishing. But polishing techniques and other steel is a little different, the main principle isnthat, in the fine grinding and polishing to take many procedures, not for polishing on the surface is very rough. But when polishing, a polishing procedure from scratch is removed, it must immediately stop polishing.
